Social Media goes global
As of 01.09., we once again expanded our activities on Facebook within the scope of the digitalisation strategy. We now have a separate Facebook page for each national subsidiary, which is also supervised in the respective language by a local employee. By the first quarter of 2018, a content strategy developed by Marketing will define the themes and thus provide a comprehensive mixture of information and images.
Together with the UPON agency from Stuttgart, existing pages in Business Manager have been collected, restructured and adapted, and appropriate rights have been assigned. “In the past, we missed the chance to position AVISTA OIL in social networks. With the current adaptations and content adaptations conducted over the past months, we have succeeded in increasing the number of fans by 3 percent digits, and increasing interaction. We expect a further boost to come from the supervision of the regional pages in the respective national languages”, says Marc Thomalla, Global Head of Marketing & Communications.
With the newly created global structure, administration of the pages and the page operator is easier than before, and at the same offers cross-regional contacts for queries regarding the topic of oil.
